Glonghui, April 16 — PepsiCo (PEP.US) rose over 2% to $158.32. According to reports, PepsiCo announced that its first quarter revenue increased by 8.5% year-on-year to $19.44 billion, and core earnings per share reached $1.61, both exceeding market expectations. Organic sales, excluding the impact of currency fluctuations and mergers and acquisitions, increased by 2.6% year-on-year, higher than the market consensus of 2.4%. The company reaffirmed its unchanged guidance for the 2026 fiscal year results and maintained its established shareholder cash return program, announcing that from June 2026 the annualized dividend per share will be increased by 4%, which marks the 54th consecutive year of annual dividend growth for PepsiCo.
