Foresight News reported that Tempo Head of Engineering Georgios Konstantopoulos tweeted that Payment Channels will be integrated into the Tempo system as a precompiled feature. This move will reduce the cost of Payment Channels, enabling them to enter the payment lane and bypass the TIP20 authorization step.
