Foresight News reported that Unchained podcast host Laura Shin released a video in which Griff Green stated that TheDAO is making a comeback. Nearly 10 years after the 2016 The DAO hack, unclaimed ETH is being used to create an Ethereum Security Fund valued at $250 million.
On June 17, 2016, a vulnerability was discovered in The DAO contract, and hackers stole approximately 3.6 million ETH. This incident ultimately led to an Ethereum hard fork, resulting in the creation of two chains: ETH and ETC.
