CryptoQuant CEO: Giant Whales Are Increasing BTC Holdings, 358,000 BTC Transferred to Long-Term Holders' Addresses in the Last 1 Month
CryptoQuant CEO Ki Young Ju said in a post on X that BTC is in an accumulation phase. Over the past month, 358,000 BTC have been transferred to permanent holder addresses, and in July, the global Bitcoin Spot ETF saw inflows of 53,000 BTC. While not all the rest of the BTC is in escrow wallets, the whale is clearly building up, and at unprecedented levels. The recent inflow of BTC into longtime holders' addresses is not due to ETF wallets. These wallets are neither exchange wallets nor miner wallets, and there is no outflow; they are mostly escrow wallets.
