Bob Menendez, a Democratic Senator from New Jersey, is a staunch critic of cryptocurrency. On Tuesday, he was found guilty of bribery by a jury, which included bribes in the form of gold bars and luxury cars in exchange for political influence. Bob Menendez has previously claimed that Bitcoin (BTC) is the ideal choice for criminals.
