Drift Protocol to Migrate to Pyth Prophecy Machine
Drift announced in a post on Platform X that it will be migrating to Python, updating its price inputs from Push to Python's new product, Pull, which was deployed on Solana's mainnet on June 17th. The original Push prophecy machine updated data every 400 milliseconds and was subject to delays during chain congestion, while the Pull prophecy machine was deployed on Solana's mainnet on June 17th and is capable of updating prices on-demand according to protocol requirements, ensuring timely price updates during congestion.
