Unlicensed platforms registered with Hong Kong ID cards can still trade with existing funds
As disclosed by Caixin, the licensing system for virtual asset trading platforms in Hong Kong will officially take effect on June 1, 2023, and the one-year transition period for non-licensed stock platforms will expire on May 31, 2024. However, on June 26, reporters found that non-licensed platforms registered with a Hong Kong identity card can still trade with existing funds.
