Aave Community Proposes Adding dlcBTC to Aave V3 on Ethereum and Arbitrum
On June 25th, according to the official governance forum, the Aave community initiated a new proposal to add dlcBTC to Aave V3 on both Ethereum and Arbitrum. dlcBTC is a decentralized wrapping of Bitcoin on the Ethereum blockchain, allowing Bitcoin holders to participate in DeFi protocols while retaining full ownership of their assets. It uses Discreet Log Contracts (DLC) for secure cross-chain transactions, ensuring trustless and decentralized asset management.
