Point72's former digital assets director joins crypto trading firm AlgoQuant
It was announced that Michael Ashby, former head of digital asset strategy implementation at Point72 hedge fund, has joined proprietary cryptocurrency trading firm AlgoQuant as CEO. Ashby stated that AlgoQuant will actively expand its digital asset management business and has relocated its headquarters from New Jersey to Dubai as part of its expansion plans in the United Arab Emirates.
