According to the Solana developer forum, a discussion on "Enabling Full Priority Fee Rewards for Validators on Solana Mainnet-beta" suggests adjusting the priority fee structure, "awarding 100% of the priority fee rewards to validators".
The initiator of the discussion stated that implementing this proposal requires using feature gating. Although there will be no changes in payment structure for transaction submitters, software containing this proposal will allocate a larger proportion of fees to validators than previous versions. Therefore, it is crucial to ensure all validators smoothly transition over period boundaries into new features with feature gates in order to maintain consistency.
