The three major U.S. stock indexes closed collectively lower, with the Dow down 1.35%, the Nasdaq down 1.4%, and the S&P 500 down 1.23%, as popular tech stocks tumbled, with Nvidia dropping more than 3%, and Google dropping more than 2%.
