CryptoPunks #7804 sold for over 16 million dollars worth of ETH
Despite Ethereum recently hitting its highest price in over two years, it still fell this week. The calm market did not stop people from spending a lot on Wednesday, just buying CryptoPunks NFT with ETH worth more than 16 million US dollars. Punk #7804 is one of only 9 Alien Punks in the influential Ethereum NFT series, which traded at 4,850 ETH on Wednesday afternoon, that is $16.42 million at the time of sale. Whether calculated in ETH or US dollars, this makes it the second-largest sale in CryptoPunks history.
