The chairman of UK industry body UK Finance has joined the board of directors of enterprise blockchain company R3
Enterprise blockchain company R3 announced today that Bob Wigley has been appointed as a non-executive director in October 2023. For the past six years, Wigley has served as the chairman of industry institution UK Finance and was also the former chairman of Bank of America Merrill Lynch Europe. Last year, UK Finance called on the government to support the adoption of tokenized securities. Now, the UK digital securities sandbox has gone live.
