S&P Global: Spot Ethereum ETF may increase ETH concentration risk

Standard Poor's global analysts stated that the proposed Ethereum ETF may increase concentration risk within the Ethereum network if approved. The analyst stated: "A US Ethereum ETF that includes staking functionality may become large enough to change the concentration of validators in the Ethereum network, for better or for worse. Therefore, understanding how the ETF issuer's choices will drive concentration risk is crucial." The analyst also stated that new cryptocurrency custodians may help ETF issuers achieve stake diversification, thereby reducing this risk.
