Uniswap Foundation Announces New Funding Strategy to Distribute $30 Million in Grants Over the Next Two Years
The Uniswap Foundation has unveiled a re-imagined grantmaking strategy, with plans to allocate $30 million in grants over the next two years; Highlights of the new grantmaking strategy include: Stakeholder-centred grant design around four specific audience categories (i.e.: developers, researchers, governance, and innovation) and a re-imagined grant-making process; The Foundation will be focusing on larger strategic plans and initiatives , rather than funding one-off projects, events, and content, the Foundation is shifting its strategy from funding mid-sized projects to making larger grants of $250,000 or more, each dedicated to building the Uniswap ecosystem over the next few years. Beginning this year, the Foundation will define, capture, and report on measurable short- and long-term KPIs that serve each of these macro goals.
