Matrixport COO Cynthia Wu made six predictions for Web3 in 2024 at the "2024 Family Office Matrixport Hong Kong Summit":

1. Spot ETFs will bring an additional $50-100 billion to the crypto market, and Hong Kong may approve the first batch of crypto spot ETFs;

2. Bitcoin's dominance will decline, and the ETH/BTC ratio will be corrected;

3. Venture capital and corporate investment will become more active;

4. CEX, custodians, and stablecoins face broader regulation, with industry possibly implementing mandatory asset segregation, focusing on financial audits and independent POR;

5. Secondary market trading volume and derivatives OI will reach new highs;

6. Tokenization of RWA (Real World Assets) will become a significant part of crypto market cap and DeFi TVL (Total Value Locked).
