02:09 PM EDT, 09/17/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Blast Resources (BLST.CN) identified a "prominent" interpreted tectonic break extending through its Wales Lake, Brazier South and Britts Lake claim groups located in Saskatchewan's Athabasca Basin Region, it said in a statement on Thursday. The company said the claims were situated predominantly east of the Clearwater Domain. Geological research proposed that radiogenic heat may have supported prolonged circulation of hydrothermal fluids along structural corridors, contributing to the mobilization and concentration of uranium within the region, it said. The company believes that the interpreted tectonic break underlying the claim groups may have provided a pathway for fluid movement, allowing the circulation and mixing of potentially uranium-bearing fluids. It also believes that the geological importance of this feature lies in its potential plumbing system, which may contain open spaces and low-pressure zones where mixing of hydrothermal fluids may have occurred, and could potentially facilitate uranium precipitation. Shares of the company were last seen up 3.2% at CA$0.32 on the Canadian Securities Exchange. Price: 0.32, Change: +0.01, Percent Change: +3.23
