04:22 PM EDT, 09/15/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Telesat (TSAT) said late Tuesday its unit Telesat LEO entered a master services agreement with satellite ground infrastructure provider SatPort Infrastructure to build and host specific landing stations as part of efforts to support the low Earth orbit Telesat Lightspeed constellation. Under the build-to-suit agreement, SatPort will provide ground infrastructure that will connect the Lightspeed satellite network to terrestrial networks, the company said. SatPort's hosting model is expected to enable Telesat to swiftly deploy new sites as needed to meet client demand and address dynamic regulatory or sovereignty requirements, according to a statement.
