US stocks rose at the start of trading, with the three major indices all up over 1%. Among S&P 500 Index components, Dell Technologies and Hewlett Packard Enterprise rose over 6%, HP increased nearly 5%, Oracle, Qualcomm, and Intel all climbed more than 3%.
