Olin, Huntsman Merger Clears US Antitrust Waiting Period

07:54 AM EDT, 09/11/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Olin (OLN) and Huntsman (HUN) said Friday that the US Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act waiting period for their pending merger has expired. The expiration satisfies a key closing condition, following overwhelming shareholder approval of the merger by both companies on Aug. 25, they added. The merger still has to clear other customary closing conditions, which also include additional regulatory approvals that are still pending, the companies said.
